Useful by design
At CanvasHug, design is about giving visitors a clear path and brands a consistent look. Every colour choice, type scale, and layout helps people find what they need without distraction.
We focus on website interfaces, light brand kits, and everyday graphics—hero sections, social banners, business cards. If you need a full rebrand, complex motion work, or an illustration library, we’ll connect you with a specialist who’s a better fit.

Design + Dev (bonus)
We often encourage pairing design with development in Framer. When the same person designs and builds, hand-offs disappear, launches happen faster, and the final site matches the approved visuals pixel for pixel. It’s not mandatory, but it’s usually the smoothest route to a result that meets our quality bar.
When we’re not the right fit
Some requests simply deserve a bigger crew or deeper niche skills. If your brief lands in that territory, we’ll flag it early and point you toward a specialist who lives and breathes that craft.
Projects we usually pass on
Full-scale rebrands with extensive brand manuals
Heavy motion or 3-D animation work
Large illustration or mascot libraries
Enterprise design systems that span multiple in-house teams
Long-form print such as magazines or thick catalogues
Sending you to the right partner up front saves everyone time, budget, and headaches.
Ongoing design
Most brands need fresh visuals long after a site launches. Instead of writing a new brief for every tweak, CanvasHug runs on a simple monthly plan:
Projects we usually pass on
You add requests to a shared board whenever something pops up—hero graphics, new page sections, or a set of social posts.
Work is done one item at a time so focus stays sharp. Most requests are delivered within 24–72 hours
Pause whenever you like. The billing cycle is 31 days—pause on day 10 and the unused 21 days stay on your account until you resume, with no extra cost.
Tools we work with
Choosing the right tools keeps projects simple for you and efficient for the studio. Here’s the core stack we use—and why it matters to your work.
Figma – our hub for layouts, brand elements, and comments. Clients can view and leave feedback without extra software.
Framer – for projects that need both design and build. Prototyping and publishing happen in one place, which keeps the final site true to the design.
Google Fonts & Variable web fonts – free, fast-loading type options for consistent rendering.
No heavy Adobe stack – Illustrator or Photoshop only come out for specific print exports; everyday work stays lightweight and browser-friendly.
Notion – a shared dashboard for briefs, assets, and task queues so you always know what’s happening.
Backend
Most projects don’t need a heavy custom backend. Instead, we use secure, proven services that are easy to manage and scale with your needs:
Webflow or Framer CMS for content management.
Shopify for ecommerce operations.
Bubble or custom code for small apps that handle both frontend and backend.
Stripe for payments and subscription management.
Airtable or Google Sheets for simple, flexible databases.
This approach keeps projects efficient, affordable, and straightforward to maintain.
